Spring

Spring is the first season of the year. Altogether there are four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, winter

When it is spring many animals and birds have their baibes.

 Here is a cow wither calf. In spring the fresh, green grass that the cow eats helps her to make lots of milk for her calf to drink.

The weather in spring can be mixed. The end of March is often windy and April often has showery rain. Spring nigts can be frosty and cold. Days can be sunny and warm. Spring is the time that birds build their nests and have their chicks.

They know that the days are beginning to get warmer and longer and that there will be plenty of food for their young.
